Registration Questions and Answers

Is Addit! Pro shareware?

Yes. Shareware distribution gives you a chance to try software before buying it. If you try a shareware program like Addit! Pro and continue using it, you are expected to register. Because the overhead is low, prices are low. Shareware has the ultimate money-back guarantee -- if you do not use the product, you do not pay for it.

You may install and use Addit! Pro for 30 days. Use this trial period to evaluate the program. If you find Addit! Pro useful and would like to continue using it beyond the trial period, you must register.

Are there any benefits for registering?

What payment options exist?

You can use your credit card, a personal check, an international money order or traveler's check.

Credit Cards

Register quickly and easily over the web using your MasterCard, Visa, American Express or Discover card. Choose either PayPal or SWREG, both are secure and feature industry-leading security. You can also choose to register by FAX, automated telephone system or postal mail using SWREG. Note there is no option for using a credit card via postal mail or email.

To register with your credit card using PayPal, complete the online registration form (http://www.byteforge.com/products/ap_fsx/register). Please provide your billing, contact and payment details. Your credit card statement will show a charge by PayPal.

To register with your credit card using SWREG, complete the SWREG registration form, selecting the appropriate billing option. Choose the Online option to register over the web using a secure connection. Choose the Fax option to receive instructions for printing your order form and faxing it to SWREG's order processing center. Or choose the Phone option to receive instructions for registering over SWREG's automated telephone system. Your credit card billing statement will show a charge by DRI.

Personal Check

You can use a personal check to register. The check must be drawn from a U.S. bank. If your bank is located outside of the United States, use a money order or traveler's check instead (see below).

There are two ways to register using a check. You can either mail it to SWREG or to the author directly, which may be faster. If you prefer to send your check to SWREG, complete the SWREG registration form selecting the option Check/Money Order. You will then receive further instructions. If you prefer to send your check to the author, print out the registration form and complete it. Mail the registration form along with your check to Joseph Stearns. Open the file Register.htm located in your program folder. The registration form and address information are there.

You may wish to expedite your postal registration by choosing a faster delivery method such as next-day air mail. If you send your check to SWREG make it payable to SWREG, Inc. If you send your check to the author, make it payable to Joseph Stearns.

International Money Order or Traveler's Check

If you live outside of the United States and would like to register by postal mail, you can use an international money order or traveler's check. American Express and most banks offer traveler's checks. Banks also offer money orders. Money orders must use U.S. dollars.

As with a regular check, you can either send your registration to SWREG or to the author. If you prefer to send your check to SWREG, complete the the SWREG registration form selecting the option Check/Money Order. You will then receive further instructions. If you prefer to send your check to the author, print out the registration form and complete it. Mail the form, along with your payment, to Joseph Stearns. What is the registration fee?

Addit! Pro For Flight Simulator X is $24.95 USD. The current version is 7.3.3. If you registered a previous version of Addit! Pro you may be eligible for a free upgrade or discount pricing. Please see the Upgrade FAQ for details.

What is PayPal?

PayPal is a very popular online service that accepts payments for goods and services for online merchants. A PayPal account is not required to pay for Addit! Pro. What is SWREG?

SWREG is an electronic commerce solutions provider owned by Digital River, Inc. Like PayPal, they also accept payments online for goods and services. SWREG utilizes state-of-the-art security controls for on-line shoppers. Learn more about SWREG's security and read their privacy policy.

Is online registration safe?

Yes. Both PayPal and SWREG use proven advanced secure payment systems. Both feature order processing via secure means. The page requesting credit card information is secure and all information is encrypted before it is sent to a secure server.

I can't seem to find my Product ID. Where is it?

You must provide your Product ID number when you register. Your Product ID is listed on Addit! Pro's Program Information screen. To display it, start the program, pull down the File menu then select Program Info. The Product ID is listed on that window.

How soon will I receive my unlocking code?

Within 1-3 business days if you provided a valid email address. Otherwise, your code will be sent by postal mail which may take longer. Use your unlocking number to tell Addit! Pro you have registered.

Where can I get more information?

A document called Register.htm is located in your Addit! Pro program folder. This document contains detailed registration instructions, a registration form you can print along with address information. If you have additional questions, just email joseph.stearns@byteforge.com.
