I'm getting the error "Component XXXXXXXX.OCX not correctly
registered: file is missing or invalid.". What can I do?
The component file (or another file on which the component file depends) may be
missing or damaged. You must replace the file with a new copy and correctly
re-register it. Follow these instructions:
1. Download a new copy of Addit! Pro (http://www.byteforge.com/downloads).
The archive you currently have probably contains damaged files so don't rely on it -- get
a fresh copy!
2. Use Add/Remove Programs to completely remove Addit! Pro.
3. Go to your "Windows\System" ("Windows\System32" for Windows XP
users) folder. Delete the file your having trouble. Note:
this step is important -- you must remove the damaged file completely.
4. Empty the Windows Recycle Bin.
5. Reinstall Addit! Pro by following the instructions listed in Article APFS2002S5 (http://www.byteforge.com/products/ap_fs2002/support/article_apfs2002s5.htm).
