Should I do anything before I upgrade?
Even though you should not lose any settings or addons during the upgrade process, you might want to backup your current installation. Visit the support area for detailed backup instructions (http://www.byteforge.com/products/ap_cfs2/support/article_apcfs2o1.htm).

How do I get version 4.7.4?
Download the installation package from the Download page (www.byteforge.com/products/ap_cfs2/download/index.htm).

How do I install version 4.7.4?
First, download and extract the setup files. Then open Readme.doc and follow the installation instructions.

Will installing this version affect any other versions of Addit! Pro?
No. Addit! Pro For Combat Flight Simulator 2 is a completely separate application. Be sure to install it to its own folder.

I have a previous version of Addit! Pro For Combat Flight Simulator 2 installed. Can Setup upgrade it?
Yes. if Setup offers to Repair (upgrade) your current installation, choose "Repair Addit! Pro For Combat Flight Simulator 2" to upgrade.

Or, if Setup prompts you for an installation folder you must specify your existing Addit! Pro For Combat Flight Simulator 2 folder.

Setup will not overwrite your addon database but consider making a backup first. For backup instructions go here (http://www.byteforge.com/products/ap_cfs2/support/article_apcfs2o1.htm).

Registered users of Addit! Pro For Combat Flight Simulator 2 may upgrade to version 4.7.4 free of charge.

After upgrading will I need a new unlocking number?
No. Your registration status will be retained and your existing unlocking information will still work. If you run into any trouble please email joseph.stearns@byteforge.com.

Is there any discount for this product for having registered a different version of Addit! Pro?
Yes!  If you're a previous registered Addit! Pro user (any version) you qualify for a discount on Addit! Pro For Combat Flight Simulator 2.
