AP FS 2004flashnew.gif (1367 bytes) Addit! Pro For Flight Simulator 2004, V6.4.7 is now available!

This update introduces Merge Addons, a new feature that allows you to combine two addons into one. You might merge addons to apply an update to an existing addon, to merge a standalone panel addon with an aircraft to form a complete package, or to combine an aircraft skin/repaint with its base aircraft.

Scenery addons now install with greater ease especially if they include several groups of scenery files slated for different folders. A new destination option allows you to quickly install a scenery group to Flight Simulator's Scenery\World\Scenery folder. A similar option to quickly install a texture group to Flight Simulator's Scenery\World\Texture folder is also available.

The Work With Addons window and Addon History window are now sortable by author, zip filename, file size, file total, origin and rating. Right click and pick Customize to access these new columns.

Install, manage and remove all kinds of movies including in-flight videos, training movies and more using Addit! Pro! Supports avi, mov, mpg, wmv and other file formats.

Within the Addon Installation Wizard, you can type in a folder name in any folder box where you normally select an installation folder. There is no need to navigate to the desired folder to select if you already know its name, just enter it! If an addon lacks pictures, a message to that effect is shown in the Set Picture sub-step.

The Help system has been updated with all of the latest changes and a couple of bugs have been fixed. See the Revision History for complete details. Here are some screenshots:

AP FS 2004 Addit! Pro For Flight Simulator 2004 V6.4.5 is out! This update introduces Addon Repair, a feature that repairs damaged and incomplete addons by searching for missing files and applying them to addon packages. Addit! Pro can automatically fix the addon or display an Addon Repair window allowing you to select replacement files.

You can now create aircraft fleet lists, panel reports, addon summaries and more using the new Reporting feature! Reports reflect the contents of the main list inside the window, so your choice of sort order and columns appears in the report exactly as shown onscreen. To change the look of the report, right click in the list and pick Customize Columns. Reports include a title, date and total.

New sections appear in the Customize window covering Addon Repair and Reporting Options. Select either Semi automatic or Fully automatic repair and optionally show an after-action repair report. Use Reporting Options to customize the new report feature. Store reports in a folder of your choice. Opt to name reports yourself or have Addit! Pro automatically name them plus more!

The Edit Aircraft, Edit Panels, Edit Scenery and Edit Sounds windows feature a new option to work with the files in the appropriate folder using Windows Explorer. Right click and pick Explore Folder from the configuration menu.

Other changes include the ability to copy a file's target folder and apply it to another file from within any Addon Installation Wizard window. You can now select and fly an aircraft immediately, just open Edit Aircraft right click and pick Fly Me Now. A new Validate option checks the integrity of an addon from within the Work With Addons window.

The Help system has been updated with all of the latest changes and a couple of bugs have been fixed. See the Revision History for complete details. Here are some screenshots:

AP FS 2004Addit! Pro For Flight Simulator 2004 V6.4.3 is out! This update enhances the Edit Aircraft window by offering a new way to view your fleet of aircraft. A new tree view displays aircraft grouped together in a condensed format. Variant aircraft are hidden from view until you decide to reveal them. The previous flat view, which displays all aircraft and their variants in one long list, remains available.

A new right-click menu option called Install to Folder Defined by Zip Folder Entry allows you to install an addon file to the folder specified by the item's zip folder entry. During installation of an aircraft, the aircraft's description is used as the addon description if no text can be pulled from the addon's regular documentation. Other improvements to automatic description creation are also included.

In the Select Addon Files Window, you can now navigate straightaway to any folder by entering a folder name in the free-form folder input box. You can extract zip files into subfolders now by checking the box "Use folder names" during extraction.

This release also includes other changes and some bug fixes. Please see the Revision History for complete details. Here are some screenshots:
