Addit! Pro For
Flight Simulator 2002, V5.5.9 is out! This update
adds Flip Bars to most windows (Flip Bars contain other bars
such as a Filter Bar, which allows you to filter out
unwanted items). Addon importing has improved both in
performance and functionality. Addit! Pro's
Toolbar now includes more buttons and is now customizable. A new
option speeds you through the Addon Installation Wizard by
automatically advancing the steps as you work through the
Wizard.
More filters are available in Import Addons, Work With
Addons and Remove Addons. A series of removals may now be
cancelled. This release also includes some usability tweaks,
performance improvements and bug fixes. Please refer to the Revision History for complete
details and be sure to read the Upgrade
Notes before upgrading. |

Addit! Pro For Flight Simulator 2004
V6.4.1 is out! This latest release debuts the
Addon History,
a log of all
addons added over time.
When you import
or install an addon, Addit! Pro records it in a log archive
called the addon history. This new window lists everything in
your addon history. Every addon you import appears
here as does every addon you install. Even deleted addons
are listed.
Use the
Addon History window to search for a previously installed an
addon, locate an addon removed on a specific date, search
for an old addon's zip filename and more!
Flip Bars now appear on
many windows.
A Flip Bar may
contain a Search Bar, Filter Bar and Status Filter Bar. The
Search Bar
allows you to find specific items (and you
can further refine your search to match case and whole words
only). The
Filter Bar allows
you to weed out items you do not wish to see. The
Status Filter Bar
allows you to show or hide items based on their state or
status. Open the Help system and search on "Getting Started
with Flip Bars" for complete details.
A new Customization
option allows you to look for new addons and import them
automatically during startup.
You can now
decide whether or not to show the import options window before showing import addons
window, toggle the Import Results window and specify exactly
what to import. Another option allows
you to automatically advance addon installation wizard
steps, speeding up a run through the wizard considerably.
New toolbar buttons
were added for
Import Addons,
Work With Installed Addons, Addon History, and Exit and all
toolbar buttons are now customizable!
You can choose which buttons to display and rearrange their
order.
Other features include
the ability to limit what is shown in some windows by Date
Installed. Addon import search speed has greatly improved. A
new Import Options button within the Import Addons window
is available. You can now cancel an import, addon removal or
reinstallation (click on the progress bar near the bottom). During installation, individual files can
now be placed in Addit! Pro's storage folder. Lists are
rebuilt faster after a status change in Edit Aircraft, Edit
Panels and Edit Sounds.
The Help
System includes updates for all new features and changes and
information is now better organized. This release also
squashes a few bugs and improves addon installation for
fewer "red dot" situations. Please see
the Revision History for complete
details. Here are a few screenshots:
