Our featured addon this month is Cessna Citation X
by Alejandro Rojas. The Citation X is Cessna's largest, fastest and
longest range aircraft yet, and Cessna claims it to be the
fastest civil transport in service other than the supersonic
Concorde. This high speed cruise capability, which Cessna says
is 105 to 210km/h (55 to 113kt) faster than other mid size
corporate jet, means the X can save up to one hour's flight time
on transcontinental US flights, flying from Los Angeles to New
York with normal wind conditions in 4 hours 10 minutes.
This package was created in GMax and includes interactive
virtual cockpit, full moving parts including leading edge flaps
and passenger door. A custom Citation sound set is also

Our featured addon this month is Beechcraft D18, SATA
by Jerry Beckwith and Tiberio Almeida. On January 15, 1937, the
Beechcraft Model 18 made its first demonstration flight at the
factory in Wichita, Kansas, and it continued in production for
thirty-two years. This low-wing, all-metal, twin-engine
monoplane was originally intended as a six-to-eight-passenger
executive or feeder airline transport. As the years passed,
however, the Model 18 was adapted to many uses and, in all,
thirty-two different versions were produced.
The airline now known as SATA Air Açores was the first in
Portugal to have a civil, commercial registry aircraft, CS-TAA.
Being its first aircraft, baptised Açor (Azor) and after only
two months of service, on the 5th of August 1947, the aircraft
was lost at sea, while flying from S.Miguel to Santa Maria
(there were no survivors). No color photographs exist, but with
special thanks to Mr. Gualter Cordeiro's excellent memory.

TBM 700 reached the performances of many apparatuses of higher
categories. (Source: Pilot's Manual)

Featured this month is Boeing CH-47 Chinook
compiled by Andreas Kruschwitz. This package contains textures
for 10 variations of the Chinook including USAF and RAF military
textures. Also included is a full panel, two autopilots, VFR/IFR
control, a smooth mixed sound and overworked lights. Andreas
added supplemental helicopter flight instructions for flying
this bird but
AVSIM's
helicopter tutorial by Steve Cartwright is also an excellent
resource.
The CH-47 Chinook is a versatile, twin-engine, tandem
rotor heavy-lift helicopter. The contra-rotating rotors eliminate the
need for a rear vertical rotor, allowing all power to be used for lift
and thrust, giving a top speed of 173 mph (150 knots, 278 km/h). Its
primary roles include troop movement, artillery emplacement, and
battlefield resupply. Chinooks have been sold to 16 nations, the largest
users of which are the US Army and the Royal Air Force (see RAF
Chinook). (Source:

this month:
1928 Cessna AW by William Ortis. You'll find two
versions of the Model A Cessna: the Warner Scarab powered AW,
and the Anzanni powered version technically called the Cessna
AA.

This is a complex model featuring front and rear opening doors,
a Virtual Cockpit, 2 different airframe models, 3 different
'textures' that include variations on interior colors, exterior
