This month we feature a fine Boeing B377 Stratocruiser aircraft package designed by Greg Pepper, Dave McQueen, Tom Gibson, and Hans-Peter Christeler. This addon package includes an extra American Overseas Airlines model and flight dynamics tweaked for Flight Simulator 2004.

Before Boeing's wildly successful 707 jetliner came the B377 Stratocruiser, a four engine propeller aircraft. Only 55 were built but all were extremely popular with travelers. Each aircraft could accommodate up to 100 passengers and each had a bar/lounge built into the lower deck.

This package includes 4 models, a 2D panel and a 3D virtual cockpit. You will find a nice Pilot's Handling manual and background information on the Stratocruiser.

This is a repaint of AFG's YS-11 version 2.0 in the colors of the Japanese Air Self Defense Force. One of several airframes still in use today as a Navaid Flight Checker, calibrating Navaids throughout Japan.

The panel is extremely detailed and looks splendid in either 2D or 3D. The aircraft needs attention (it has "spirit") during some flight operations so be sure to read the excellent documentation.
